The Magellano 60 and B.Now 50M by Azimut Benetti win the Yacht Style Awards 2024

Two Azimut Benetti yachts won their respective categories during the Awards ceremony held at the Singapore Yachting Festival

Azimut Benetti found themselves on the podium twice during the Yacht Style Awards 2024, organised by the industry magazine of the same name, which is popular in the Asian Pacific area; the awards were given the day before the opening of the Singapore Yachting Festival. The Azimut Magellano 60 won the Motor Yacht 18-21m category while the Benetti B.Now 50M won the Superyacht 40-60m category.

The awards ceremony, which took place at the ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove in the Asian city, highlighted the increasing popularity of Azimut Benetti products in this part of the world. The Azimut brand has increased sales here by 40% with the Grande series in the lead, thanks to a capillary network of dealers throughout the region. Benetti works directly in the APAC area, delivering most of its vessels directly, including the Oasis 34M, Oasis 40M, B.Yond 37M, Motopanfilo 37M and B.NOW 50 Oasis Deck.

AZIMUT MAGELLANO 60, FIRST PLACE AT THE YACHT STYLE AWARDS 2024

The latest in this series,the  Azimut Magellano 60 is a crossover with a timeless design and elegant lines, created for yacht owners with a passion for long cruises. The R&D department of the Azimut Benetti Group applied their latest innovations to this model, in particular those that reduce emissions and increase comfort on board.

Propulsion is through the use of HVOlution biofuel by Eni Live (Eni Sustainable Mobility) use 100% renewable materials (in accordance with EU Directive  2018/2001 REDII), which, together with the very efficient Dual Mode semi-planing hull, leads to a “well to wake” reduction of CO2 of over 80% compared to other yachts of similar size using fossil fuels.

In addition, Azimut Magellano 60 is equipped with a domotics system that uses artificial intelligence, developed by the shipyard in partnership with Google Cloud and Reply, allowing the yacht to be remotely controlled and interacted with through a personal app.

PODIUM SHARED WITH BENETTI B. NOW 50M

The Benetti B.Now 50M was created in partnership with British architecture studio, RWD: a steel hull with aluminium superstructure, with a quick turnaround time, that also uses the available space on board to bring passengers into closer contact with the water, standing out for the continuity between the interior and exterior.

Thanks to this series, Benetti reinterprets yachting lifestyle, both visually, through the use of large windows throughout the entire series, as well as concretely with the Oasis Deck, an innovative solution belonging to the B.Now range, which extends the stern out to the water using two collapsible lateral wings. In addition, the integrated infinity pool leads the eye out to the 270° view, from the saloon on the main deck.
