Project 715 by Feadship nearly complete: voyage through the Dutch canals

Project 715 by Feadship travels to the Aalsmeer based shipyard for outfitting and hybrid engines

The Project 715 super yacht by Feadship, 80 metres long, spent three days navigating through the Dutch canals on its way to the Aalsmeer facility, where the interior will be completed and technical equipment installed. Candid and majestic in the video that recorded its first voyage, the ship has been under construction since 2022 and is scheduled for delivery in the summer of 2025.

PROJECT 715 FEADSHIP, POWERFUL YET DELICATE

Although Feadship has shared little information on Project 715, in particular regarding the layout design, they have shared that the ship has 5 decks, that the naval architecture is by De Voogt Naval Architects, and it will have diesel/electric/solar hybrid propulsion. This is technology exclusive to the Dutch shipyard (celebrating 75 years in business this year); thanks to its extremely powerful batteries, in the multi-megawatt range, it guarantees silent and clean navigation for even the most delicate marine ecosystems. The supplemental renewable solar energy source makes this giant powerful yet delicate, using the latest technology yet respectful of nature.
