Baglietto opens 2024, its 170th year in business, with the sale of the tenth unit of the DOM133, the first one to go to the Australian market, thanks to the work of Perry James, the representative for the business in Australia.

This is a very important sale – notes Fabio Ermetto, Chief Compliance Officer for Baglietto – not only because it opens up a new market, one which we have always believed in, but also because it demonstrates the high level of customisation we can guarantee in a vessel that is part of a range. This DOM133 was created for an owner wishing to travel all around the world and is strongly personalised, even for its destination market, without skimping on that Italian style which has always made us stand out.

HIGHLY CUSTOMISED

Designed by Stefano Vafiadis, the new DOM133 (hull number 10,263 for Baglietto), has a modern style inspired by the automotive industry, and is built in aluminium, a building solution that guarantees flexibility in layout and therefore  a high level of personalisation. Indeed, in light of the lengthy voyages planned, the layout does not include the aft pool on the main deck, like its predecessors, but has more space for storage. The kitchen has also been modified to include a small table for quick and informal breakfasts.

We are honoured that our long-standing clients – says Perry James, managing director for Geoff Lovett International Brokerschose us to represent them in this fundamental purchase. As one of the oldest and most respected brokerage companies in Australia, we have the privilege of representing Baglietto for Australia and New Zealand, at a time when we are helping usher in a new era for boating in the South Pacific. While undertaking this exciting adventure, our team is ready to guarantee an extraordinary and seamless experience. We cannot wait to share the entire construction process of this new Baglietto DOM133 and guarantee and exciting update with each step.”

Sailing performance is guaranteed by a pair of Caterpillar C32 engines, which can push the yacht to a maximum speed of 17 knots. Delivery is planned for 2026.
