It has only been three years since Antonini Navi was founded, a part of the Antonini Group (in partnership with engineer, Aldo Manna) specialised in full custom superyachts, and, in addition to its thriving business, the Italian brand has added a sales contract for a 32-metre explorer yacht in steel and aluminium. The owner, an expert navigator, saw his engineering and exterior design requirements fulfilled by Hydro Tec and the interior layout by Milan-based studio, Hot Lab.

A TEAM OF PROFESSIONALS WITH ANTONINI NAVI

The owner asked for a unit with the characteristics of an explorer – explains nautical engineer, Sergio Cutolo, founder of Hydro Tec – so, comfortable with good autonomy capable of handling any type of water conditions, but at the same time captivating and more modern than is usual for this type of vessel. Antonini Navi was the ideal partner for this type of project, thanks to our commercial, ship building and organisational background allowing us to fulfil the client’s need for the extremely flexible use of the yacht.

Antonini Navi will deliver the vessel to its owner in 2025.  “I am very proud – said Aldo Manna, partner and sales manager for the company – to make this sale official. Three years ago, myself and Simone Antonini (CEO of the Group) gave ourselves a complex entrepreneurial challenge, something difficult yet ambitious: to create a business from scratch to become a viable and reliable alternative in this industry, as well as a valid option for builders of custom yachts. We are convinced that it is the credibility and technical skill of the people who make a difference. And we are a determined and professional team, so I believe the market will reward us once again, and soon.

ARCHITECTURE FOR TRAVELLING

Particularly satisfied is also Enrico Lumini, design manager and founder of Hot Lab, who, alongside Antonio Romano, marketing manager for the Milan-based studio, creates “architecture for travellers”. “We are extremely pleased – notes Lumini – to embrace Antonini Navi’s style for this project in partnership with Hydro Tec, with whom we have worked closely with for quite some time. The interior work is being done in close communication with the owner, who has asked for open bright spaces, with a fresh, contemporary, organic yet essential style, both in shape and colour palette.
