Pershing brought, to the 2023 iteration of the Cannes Yachting Festival, their new GTX116, the first model of the range aiming to revolutionise the concept of the Sport Utility Yacht. The result of a partnership between the Ferretti Group strategic product committee, led by Piero Ferrari, design studio Fulvio De Simoni and the Engineering Department, the Pershing GTX116 was one of the 5 world premieres presented at the French event by the Ferretti Group, owner of the Pershing shipyard.

The exclusive GTX116, 35 metres long and 8 metres wide, embodies the sporty DNA of the brand, while enhancing the concept of comfort thanks to ample open space and its new five cabin layout. With its streamlined profile, it represents the perfect marriage between elegance and performance. Daily Nautica saw it in Cannes and went on board.

LAYOUT OF THE PERSHING GTX116

Among the characteristics that make the Pershing GTX116 an extremely welcoming yacht is its exterior. It has 165 square metres of outdoor space, including the garage which can store a tender of over 5 metres, the 38-square metre beach club in teak, and the sundeck with the second helm, covering 41 metres square and protected by a carbon fibre hard top.

The interior design has also been created for adaptability and comfort. The cockpit, with sofa, dining table and bar, is connected directly to the open space of the main saloon with its ample living space, kitchen and dining area. Also in this area, if wanted, owners can add an external balcony accessed through the window on the port gunwale.

The Pershing GTX116 offers custom solutions for passenger hospitality. The first unit has five cabins, with the full beam owner’s cabin at midship, two VIP double cabins and two guest cabins with separate beds, all with private bathroom. Alternatively, owners can opt for a four cabin layout: the owner’s cabin at midship, two VIPs and a twin.

PERSHING PERFORMANCE

The sporty essence that characterises the Pershing brand can also be clearly seen in the GTX range.  With three MAN V12 2000 of 2000 HP each, alongside water jet transmission, the Pershing GTX116 can reach a maximum speed of 35.5 knots and a cruising speed of 29.5 knots. For a slightly less powerful solution, the new flagship can be mounted with three Man V12 1800 engines of 1800 HP, thereby reducing speed respectively by three knots.
