Motoryacht, Crossover or Explorer? With UP40 by Antonini Navi the owner decides

Antonini Navi has garnered a lot of interest at the Genoa Boat Show with its ambitious project, UP40

Even Antonini Navi, a new brand belonging to the Antonini Group dedicated to luxury boating, was present at the 2020 edition of the Genoa Boat Show, one of the most important international showcases for the industry, and at the moment the only one in Europe to have been held notwithstanding the Coronavirus.

During the 6 days of the event, the shipyard from La Spezia displayed its scale models for the first two concepts, Crossover and Explorer, created as part of the modular platform, UP40. The boat show in Genoa was the perfect opportunity to officially present to the public their new creation, the Utility Platform 40 design: a modular hull that can be adapted to three different types of displacement yachts.

MOTORYACHT, CROSSOVER OR EXPLORER?

Imagine a steel hull, 40 metres long, whose engineering and naval architecture, depending on the superstructure chosen by the client, can create three different models: one, elegant and modern, the Motoryacht, one seafaring and essential, the Crossover, and one solid and multifunctional, the Explorer, all of them sprung from the experience and talent of Fulvio De Simoni, an internationally famous yacht designer.

A modular platform studied to allow the owner the chance to personalise the type and interior of their superyacht once construction is already under way, choosing between three different styles and proposals: elegant, essential or sporty. The result? Highly personalised, maximum flexibility in choice and reduced delivery times, some even halved.

Starting with a solid Group, with an large amount of experience in technical and sales knowledge in the superyacht industry and the strategic position of the Gulf of La Spezia – explains Aldo Manna, a partner of Antonini Navi – our shipyard is aiming at standing out in this sector thanks to a product that is based on reliability, skill and experience at all levels.  We are proud of the interest that the UP40 project is sparking. We are convinced that this premise will soon show significant results.”
