Baglietto begins construction on the second T60 designed by Francesco Paszkowski

The T60 is a natural evolution of the T52 and has a modern layout focussed on connection with the water

While work on the first T60 continues as planned, Baglietto has announced they have laid the keel on hull number 10262, kicking off the construction of the second 60 metre yacht designed by Francesco Paszkowski. The delivery of the second unit is planned for 2027

The T60 – says Fabio Ermetto, CCO for the La Spezia-based shipyard – is the natural evolution of the smaller 52 metre model, and we hope it will be met with the same success. We have sold nine T52s so far to be delivered over the next few years. This model is clearly influenced by Baglietto tradition, but it also satisfies all current market trends.”

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE BAGLIETTO T60

Inspired by the Baglietto T52, the new T60 is streamlined with its lighter sides that look like they are “suspended” in the air, flowing into the structure of the external deckheads. Another design element that makes the hull look more streamlined is the black glass stripe, now a leitmotiv in Baglietto vessels.

The layout is certainly innovative: there are no enclosed spaces in this yacht, the full height windows of the main saloon and upper deck, which can be opened fully, create spaces that flow seamlessly into the surrounding environment, The 60m2 beach lounge, complete with pool, bar, relaxation area, and gym, welcomes passengers from the moment they come on board, leading them to the main saloon, via a staircase. The result is a dual level space of nearly 100m2 to which are added the dining room and an extraordinary living room on the water’s edge, to be enjoyed both day and night.

THE SECOND UNIT

Like the first, this second unit also reserves the upper deck for the owner. The owner’s suite can be accessed through a lobby at midship, which is also where the glass elevator is located. The suite, which includes an office, wardrobe and large bathroom with separate facilities, includes a night area with windows opening on three sides, accessing a private outdoor pool to the bow. To the stern, the lounge opens out to an outdoor dining area thanks to the glass doors, continuing the dialogue between the interior and exterior which is characteristic of the entire vessel. A hot tub and sun lounge area complete the layout of this deck. As if this weren’t enough, to the bow is also a touch and go helipad.

INTERIOR AND ENGINES

Guest accommodation includes five cabins, two VIP and two guest cabins on the main deck, while the fifth is on the lower deck. Here are also the massage parlour, fully-equipped kitchen and crew cabins.

The yacht has two CAT 3512 engines allowing the vessel to reach a maximum speed of 16 knots, and a cruising speed of around 12 knots. Just like the first unit, this unit is also hybrid engine ready.
