World Première for the Amer 120 at the Genoa Boat Show

Amer Yachts will be at the heart of the Genoa Boat Show with two units on display, built for the same commission, one after the other: the Amer F100 and the Amer 120, presented to the public in their world première.

A situation which often happens for clients of Amer Yachts: this is not the first time that a client, in love with the Italian brand, has immediately commissioned a larger model after the first launches. But this is the first time that the two units have participated in a world première in a show.

Amer Yachts built the prototype during lockdown, then in a race against time, they worked to recover the time lost during Covid and are now presenting the two yachts in the September shows.

Two vessels that express two different interior choices, with a leitmotiv connecting them. There is functionality, contemporary style, and neoclassic elements denoting an experience of enjoying the sea maturely, anticipating trends, and the latest design and technology solutions.

The Amer 120 has quadruple IPS motors for an overall power of 4,000 HP, 25% less compared to the competition, while guaranteeing the same speed and limiting consumption.

The substitution of composites with other recyclable materials, reduced the use of fibreglass by approximately 4 tonnes. In addition, the glass-covered surface has been expanded, so that natural light can reach the interior through the 97 square metres of windows, guaranteeing spectacular views and an elegant exterior, even during navigation.

The largest pleasure/charter yacht equipped with IPS made by Amer Yachts will be presented to the public at the Genoa Boat Show and it is not the only surprise the shipyard has in store.
