Baglietto has launched its eighth model of DOM133. This is the fourth launch this year for the La Spezia-based shipyard, which confirms they are working at operating speed in terms of manufacture, with an average of one vessel a month in the water. During the ceremony were present the owner, his family and a close group of friends, along with the staff who worked on building the “Andala” (the new name of the vessel), Baglietto management and the crew.
A well-built team
The exterior of the new DOM133 Andala by Baglietto was curated by Stefano Vafiadis, while the interior design was by Giorgio Cassetta, and his yacht design studio. The team also included IBI Yachts, as the owner’s representative and Andrea Pezzini, manager and co-founder of Floating Life, as surveyor and technical manager, also on behalf of the owner.
“The launch of a new yacht – says the manager of Floating Life – is always a significant moment. For Floating Life and IB Nautica Group, the eighth DOM133 by Baglietto represents much more than a simple delivery. We supervised each phase of its construction with the responsibility that comes with the role of technical representative for the owner. Today, therefore, this yacht sets sail with a clear vision and defined course: that of its owner.”
“Behind each technical detail, each structural decision and functional solution – continues Pezzini – hides the ceaseless work of our technical department in partnership with Baglietto, the continuous dialogue with IB Nautica and the client. This is our approach to consultancy: presence, precision and a 360° vision.”
DOM133 by Baglietto: a successful series
This DOM133, hull number 10,254 for Baglietto, while still keeping the DNA of this successful range, has been strongly customised, regarding the exterior and interior design and layout. A result that confirms the flexible approach of the Ligurian shipyard, which is celebrating 70 years in business, ready to work in full to fulfil their clients’ desires, even in a semi-custom design.
“We are going through a truly exciting spring – says Fabio Ermetto, CCO for Baglietto. – Having already launched 4 vessels and, in the first 15 days of next month, we will be launching another 3 yachts: two DOM133s and a T52. A result that proves how solid and mature our shipyard’s organisation is. We are proud to provide high quality products, with a unique level of customisation for yachts of this size.”
