The fifth iteration of the Venice Boat Show was blessed with an extraordinary guest: the Saxdor 400 GTO, leading model for the Finnish shipyard. With its innovative design and impressive performance, this vessel has caught the attention of many – boaters and non-boaters alike. Design and sense of style are present in every detail of the Saxdor 400 GTO. The elegant and modern design, combined with quality finishings, make this vessel a model of functionality and aesthetics.

With an overall length of 12.40 metres and maximum beam of 3.55, the Saxdor 400 GTO can accommodate up to 12 people during navigation and host 4 people overnight thanks to the two double cabins on board. Designed with dual Mercury 400 HP V10 engines, Saxdor 400 GTO offers performance ranging from 35 knots cruising speed to 48 knots maximum, thanks to its two-step hull ensuring remarkable efficiency and stability.

One of its distinctive characteristics is the wheelhouse which extends the entire length of the vessel. This not only maximises the internal living space, but also offers direct access to the lateral terraces created by the collapsible gunwales. These singular balconies transform the interior into a private saloon, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view.

Two lateral bridges allow for quick access to the vessel from the stern and, with just one step, there is the first relaxation area on board: the large aft sun lounge. To the left is the entrance to the cockpit, with its dinette and standard electric table which comfortably seats 6, right in front of the galley. The Saxdor 400 GTO is equipped with an external kitchen with hot place and sink and, if wanted, it can be fitted with a second outdoor kitchen in the aft left compartment next to the sun lounge.

Two large chairs make a comfortable seat for the pilot, with a bridge dominating the central position of this cruiser, including (up to three) Simrad plotters. Complete with air conditioning, opening top and Flexiteek decking, this vessel encompasses elegance, simplicity and class, thanks to the colour palette as well.

Below deck can be accessed to the left of the console, with three steps leading the the main cabins and separate bathroom with shower. The entrance to the second cabin is a bit hidden but simple: lifting a part of the dinette reveals to steps and large door accessing the second bright and airy cabin with windows. A detail that highlights the Finnish shipyard care for detail is the hidden closure of the lateral canvases (to fully close up the boat) located inside the roof struts, becoming invisible.

Sailing on the Saxdor 400 GTO is pleasant: it plows through the waves efficiently, especially in a linear route where it is safe and stable even at high speeds, up to 44 knots. Certainly perfect for day outings, this vessel can also be used for weekends away and mini cruises. Thanks to its reseller Nautica del Delta, the Saxdor 400 GTO, with its incredible performance, design and space, represented the best in Finnish boating during the Venice Boat Show.
