Baglietto has launched the eighth DOM133, the fourth yacht launched in 2025 for the La Spezia-based shipyard, which thus confirms the full capacity of its construction activity and the average of one vessel in the water per month. The ceremony was attended by the owner, his family and a small group of friends, together with the staff who contributed to the construction of “Andala” – this is the new name of the hull -, Baglietto’s management and the crew.
A well-built team
The exteriors of the new DOM133 Andala by Baglietto are by Stefano Vafiadis, while the interiors are by Giorgio Cassetta, owner of the yacht design studio of the same name. The team also included IBI Yachts as the owner’s representative and Andrea Pezzini, director and co-founder of Floating Life, as surveyor and technical manager, always on behalf of the owner.
“The launch of a new yacht is always a moment filled with meaning – says Andrea Pezzini -. For us at Floating Life and IB Nautica Group, the Baglietto Yachts DOM 133 #8 represents much more than a successful delivery. We oversaw every stage of its construction with the responsibility that comes with being the technical owner’s representative. Today, the DOM133 #8 from the Baglietto Shipyard sets sail with a clear vision and a defined course: those of its owner”.
“Behind every technical detail, every structural decision, and every functional solution – continues Pezzini – lies the continuous work of our technical department in collaboration with Baglietto, in constant dialogue with IB Nautica and the client. This is our approach to consultancy: presence, precision, and a comprehensive vision“.
Baglietto’s DOM133, a successful series
This DOM133, hull no. 10,254 of Baglietto, while maintaining the DNA of the successful line, has been the subject of a strong customization, both in terms of the exterior and interior design and the configuration. A result that confirms the flexible approach of the shipyard that has celebrated 170 years of activity, ready to fully accommodate the wishes of customers even in semi-custom projects.
“Our brand’s having a truly amazing spring – stated Baglietto’s CCO Fabio Ermetto –. We’ve launched four yachts so far, and three more, two DOM133 and a T52, are going to hit the water by mid-June. Such outstanding results testify to our company’s soundness and organizational maturity. We are proud to offer customers world-class products and a level of customisation that remains unmatched in this segment“.
