Ice Yachts is presenting two world premiers at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2024 from 12 to 17 September: Ice 70 GC and the recently launched Ice 52 RS Anniversary. Both models are borne of the partnership between the technical staff of Ice Yachts and Felci Yacht Design studio – their brief – quality and comfort.

ICE 70 GC

The Ice 70 Grand Comfort is a technologically advanced vessel, with ample, comfortable space both inside and out, it is easy to navigate yet still has excellent performance and safety. The bridge combines elements to create both the ideal space for a relaxing cruise and an essential space during long distance sailing or races.

Particularly elegant and functional are the maxi dodger and the two bimini tops protecting the guest cockpit and wheelhouse: all elements that highlight the boat’s focus: comfort. In addition, on the heels of the success of the previous model, the seating is to the stern, and in this case, extends out to midships, creating two chaise longues while also offering more storage space.

The essence of the decor is natural teak, a prime example of the union between classic style, nautical tradition and contemporary style, while the inserts along the walls flowing throughout the living area are in natural leather. The dunnage in teak, with dark wenge slats, runs lengthwise from bow to stern, connecting all the spaces together.

The stern, with the captain’s cabin and galley, is completely separate, guaranteeing privacy to the owners and their guests. To the bow are the owner’s cabin, large and elegant with bathroom including shower and sauna (covered in teak) and a study, the guest area including a cabin with double bed, large wardrobe and dedicated bathroom.

ICE 52 RS ANNIVERSARY

The Ice 52 RS Anniversary is the 17th model of the Ice 52 RS series, which also includes other light, sporty and high performance vessels. Its metallic selenite grey colour is reminiscent of a sports car and perfectly enhances the elegant and aggressive lines of the hull, highlighted also by the absence of windows. The deck is covered in synthetic 3.5 millimetre Plasdeck teak and pops against the white deckhouse.

The new keel configuration showcases new lines for both the stabiliser and machined automated fin keel, bringing the overall depth to 3.2 metres. The new mast is built in carbon fibre and is ready for a square top mainsail, with dual backstay, carbon fibre shrouds and adjustable wheel with dedicated winches. The 3-speed 65.3 Harken carbon winches, allow sailors to take advantage of the increased sail plan, as well as creating more aesthetic appeal for the on board equipment.

The interior layout has been modified for family use with two large cabins to the stern for 3 people with bathroom and the owner’s cabin to the bow with its own bathroom. In this way, the combination of the kitchen and dinette space is used in the best manner, creating a bright space that balances the lack of windows on the hull. All the interior spaces use real teak (as requested by the owners) and visible carbon fibre details, reflecting the modern classic style which has now become typical of the Ice Yacht/Felci Yacht Design partnership. In addition the vessel is equipped with a new 40000 BTU air conditioning system for all rooms, powered not only by the battery but also a 6 kW generator.
