Mega yachts by definition, are vessels longer than 24 metres, they are considered marvels sailing our seas: there is no-one who doesn’t stop to look at them when they see one at anchor in the harbour. Obviously owned by multi-millionaires, they are often offered for charter. Mega yachts have a professional crew on board and are managed by Captains who also take on the role of manager, and do it professionally, as if they were managing a company.
Liguria is lucky enough to host many mega yachts every year: just passing through or visiting our coast, docked in our marinas, or even just for ordinary or extraordinary maintenance thanks to the excellence of our shipyards. We cannot forget to mention our construction shipyards in this section, who build mega yachts here in Liguria: Sanlorenzo, Amer Yachts, Baglietto, Tankoa, Riva just to name a few.
