Kenshō, the innovative 75 metre megayacht belonging to the Admiral fleet, was delivered to its owner and will début this summer with a trip around the Mediterranean. Launched last autumn, Kenshō redefines the confines of space, distribution, and luxury. The design was curated directly by the owner in partnership with the French design agency Jouin Manku for the interiors and with the Azure Yacht Design and archineer.berlin teams for the exterior.

Using the specific skills of The Italian Sea Group in the construction of megayachts which are both beautiful and innovative, “Kenshō – explains the owner – integrates the best ideas in residential design with nautical design in order to create a new quality of life at sea.”

A motor-yacht filled with details, resulting from research and cooperation between the high level companies working in luxury boating and a strategy which is increasingly orientated for sustainability, as demonstrated by the new “diesel-electric” hybrid propulsion system, with permanent elector-magnet motors that guarantee high efficiency and power even with their limited size.

The propulsion system is equipped with five variable speed generators, all with anti-particulate systems to optimise fuel consumption under any regime and reduce emissions. The design, essential and elegant, was developed giving more importance to the environmental aspect, in respect with “Eco” classification guidelines, through the use of a hull which minimises resistance through azimuth propulsion and retractable stabilisers.

Thanks to the Kenshō – notes Giuseppe Taranto, Vice Chairman and Chief Commercial Officer of The Italian Sea Group – we proudly consolidate our know-how and specific skills in building beautiful and innovative megayachts. This motor yacht represents further success and highlights our skilfulness in working together with international professionals. Working on such a masterpiece fully curated in detail – concludes Taranto – has been a marvellous experience for all of us.
