The first model of the Omaya 50 catamaran, Omaya Yachts’ debut in the luxury multi-hull segment, was launched from the Bulgarian shipyard’s site along the Danube River.
Omaya 50: a high-class debut
Designed for long term on board living, with a high level of performance and an excellent level of comfort, the Omaya 50 was curated by iYacht, a naval architecture and engineering studio based in Hamburg, which created it to be a trailblazer for the yacht brand.
“What struck us the most – says Udo Hafner, CEO for iYacht – was the passion and hard work behind this project to turn it into reality. It was clear from the beginning that this wasn’t just about building a single yacht. The larger vision, meaning the desire to create something scalable, repeatable, and lay the foundations for an important shipyard, is something that we respect profoundly. We are proud to have been part of this voyage and are even more proud of the result. Omaya 50 is a testament to what is possible when ambition, design, engineering and execution come together harmoniously.”
First objective reached for Omaya Yachts
Liveability and functionality on board are defined through a streamlined layout, with detailed luxury finishes, placing the Omaya 50 in the higher levels of pleasure yachting.
Kaloyan Raduluv, CEO for Omaya Yachts and on the Forbes 30 under 30 list, is particularly satisfied. “We are excited – explained the co-founder of the Bulgarian shipyard – to finally demonstrate everything we could imagine with the Omaya 50. To the team, to each each person who put their skill, energy and heart into this project – I say thank you You supported us in transforming a complex challenge into a spectacular success.”
