May will be a particularly significant month for AB Yachts, with a number of important results
AB Yachts, a brand of Next Yacht Group, is going through a very exciting period, marked by important achievements like participating in the Venice Boat Show, delivering a new flagship and winning at the World Superyacht Awards 2025.
The AB 100 at the Venice Boat Show
The AB 100 will be on display in the sixth edition of the Venice Boat Show, schedule for 29 May to 2 June. Emblem of speed and style, this 30-metre yacht has refined and luminous spaces that enhance comfort and connection with the water, and can reach speeds of 50 knots, providing silent and vibration-free sailing. A model that, year after year, continues to be popular thanks to its unique blend of adrenaline and class, and that can reach speeds of 60 knots in the Superfast version.
A significant month
The month of May is particularly significant for AB Yachts, which has achieved a number of important results. On 3 May, the AB 110 won at the World Superyacht Awards in the “Semi-Displacement or Planing Motor Yachts, 30-39,9 m” category, while the second unit of the model will be launched at the end of the month, ready for testing and the final fitting phase.
On 19 May the fourth unit of the AB 80 launched, 25.4 metres of pure adrenalin, breaking the speed barrier of 55 knots and built for owners who love to personally sail their own yachts without giving up on comfort and the latest technology solutions.
AB Yachts main sites are also both undergoing restyling: the historical shipyard in Viareggio, and the group Headquarters, where yacht undergo fitting and the offices are located, and the AB Yachts & Maiora Deck Lounge, ideal for welcoming clients and with space for 7 units in the water.
In the past few days the first unit of the AB 130 flagship was delivered, which, with its 40 metres brings the navigation experience to a whole new level: expandable beach area, pool with sea view on demand, float in garage and water jets that can push the vessel to over 40 knots. A boat that redefines not just performance but also the concept of comfort itself, thanks to the most advanced Seakeeper stabilisers and a draught of just 1.30 metres.
“AB Yachts – notes Sebastiano Fanizza, CEO of Next Yacht Group – is experiencing a period of strong growth and renewal, where we are consolidating our leadership in the high performance yacht segment.
