On board the Tecnomar for Lamborghini were 32 people, all rescued by the United States Coast Guard
An exclusive Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 yacht, with an estimated value of over 4 million dollars, partially sank in the afternoon of Saturday 3 May, in the waters off Star Island, a luxury artificial island located between the city of Miami and the island of Miami Beach, in Florida. The vessel, known for its sporty design inspired by Lamborghini, was carrying 32 people on board at the time of the incident,
According to local authorities, the passengers sounded the alarm shortly after 17:00 when the vessel began taking on water. The United States Coast Guard intervened at the scene, along with a unit of the Miami Beach police. When rescue teams arrived the stern of the yacht was completely submerged, with all passengers gather on the bow, the only part still above water.
RESCUE OPERATIONS
Luckily, nobody on board was seriously injured. The 32 passengers were rescued and safely transferred to the tourist marina on Miami Beach, where they received medical care and transport. The identities of the passengers has not been released, but some sources claim that some of the passengers were influences and guests at a private function. The cause of the incident is still not fully known: Authorities have begun investigations to determine whether it was a technical malfunction, human error, or a violation of boating safety regulations.
