In the Forte In showroom in Forte dei Marmi, YN20655 Project Venus was presented – one of the latest gems to come from Florentine studio, Luca Dini Design and Architecture for Heesen Yachts, the Dutch shipyard, one of the world leaders in the construction of super and mega yachts. Luca Dini, alongside Silvia Margutti, lead designer on the project, designed and curated every detail of the interior and accessories. The exterior layout was curated by Frank Laupman from Omega Architects.

Project Venus is the perfect mix between Italian creativity and Dutch organisation: 55 metres of harmony and luxury, involving the work of two teams. There are 6 cabins (including owner’s suite) which can accommodate up to 12 people in total. There are another 7 cabins for the 13 crew members.

For this vessel, belonging to the Steel Fast Displacement series, special materials, finishes and fittings were used. For fuel and propulsion, the superyacht uses two MTU 8v 4000 M63 engines, allowing it to reach maximum speeds of 15.5 knots and, sailing at 13 knots, it has an autonomy of 4,500 nautical miles.

MAIN DECK SALON – LOUNGE WITH OCEAN VIEW

The Main Deck Salon – Lounge with ocean view is a well proportioned space which includes the living area and dining area. The TV is cleverly hidden in the ceiling. The lateral windows, amplified by mirrors, guarantee a clear view of the water. Here we can appreciate all the details, like the use of metal shapes and three woods of the highest quality – rosewood, eucalyptus and almond toned durmast – providing an Art Deco feel. The full height furniture offers ample space for storage. Invaluable freestanding elements from well known brands like Giorgetti, Promemoria and Henge, adapt to the luxurious style of this interior.

OWNER’S SUITE: A SECRET UNIVERSE

The owner’s suite, spacious and bright, has two walk in closets separated by a bathroom, but it can also have a lounge area. On the starboard side is a private balcony. The main materials used for the wall covering and curtains are by Pierre Frey, and the leather is by Foglizzo. The bathroom is by Gessi Venti20. Marble, metal, glass and mirrors flow together in harmony with the wood.

SKY LOUNGE: ENTERTAINMENT UNDER COVER OR IN THE OPEN

The Sky Lounge is enhanced by its perfect connection with the aft exterior spaces. Sofas, stools and chairs are by Exteta. The bar turns into a bright bubble, highlighting the textured smoked glass and blue calcite of the deck.

PASSENGER SUITES: A DELIGHTFUL REFUGE

Venus has four cabins on the lower deck and one panoramic cabin on the wheelhouse deck. The design of the interiors is welcoming, soft, warm and elegant and can be personalised in every detail. Ceccotti Collezioni Brad and Poltrona Frau were chosen for the furniture and décor.

COMMON AREAS: EXQUISITE FLOW

The lobby, stairs and day toilets showcase meticulous attention to materials and details. The walls are decorated in illustrated eucalyptus, which blends in with the light coloured durmast, while a chevron motif adds a touch of elegance.

BEACH CLUB: A FLOATING OASIS FOR RELAXATION

With a sauna, shower, day toilet and a versatile lounge area and bar, the Beach Club is the connecting space between the exterior and interior spaces of the yacht.
