In the world of superyachts, size really does matter. It is not just a question of luxury but also of style and elegance. This is the case of the Carinthia VII, the 97.2 metre long superyacht that has become an icon of naval architecture.

The vessel was launched in 2002 but is still beautiful today, thanks to Tim Heywood’s masterful design and the exceptional quality of the German shipyard, Lurssen. In response to new market trends, this impressive superyacht was thoroughly refitted in 2023 and is currently available for charter through Fraser Yachts.

Daily Nautica went on board the Carinthia VII during the MYBA Charter Show at the Marina Molo Vecchio in Genova, together with captain, Luca Mosca.

ON BOARD THE CARNITHIA VII

With a generous 16 metre beam, the Carinthia VII extends over six decks, with ample interior and exterior space. The superyacht has been designed to offer passengers the best experience possible: from its luxurious upper deck covering a surface area of 124 square metres, to its extraordinary waterfront beach club and welcoming club lounge. Another eminent feature is the 12 metre long pool with glass panels, located on the main deck, perfect for relaxing and having fun while admiring the surrounding seascape.

LUXURY INTERIORS

All passenger areas were completely renovated during the 2023 refit, giving new life to the vessel’s classic and elegant style. Regarding accommodation, Carinthia VII can host up to 12 passengers in 8 cabins: the owner’s cabin and VIP cabin are located on the owner’s deck, while the six additional cabins are on the main deck. The owner’s cabin, to the bow, has a spectacular 180-degree view from its refined living room.

ENTERTAINMENT

For fitness lovers, the Carinthia VII has an air conditioned 90 square metre gym, fully equipped with a bonus of a breathtaking view. Movie buffs have access to a cinema room. Moving on to the lower deck, there is a large spa complete with Turkish bath, beauty centre, nail bar, hair dresser and massage parlour.
