Framed by the beautiful Arsenale, during the Venice Boat Show 2023, the new model of the Wallywhy 150 by Wally was presented, continuing to surprise us while redefining the parameters of boating as we know it.

When going on board, we immediately noticed the ample space in both the exterior and interior. This is exactly what the the design team, Wally – Ferretti Group Engineering, in partnership with Studio Vallicelli Design, wanted to highlight  for the interior. It feels like walking through a much larger and comfortable yacht. The overall length is 24 metres, while its width is 6.78 metres.

WALLYWHY 150, COMFORT AND INFINITE SPACE

As explained by Stefano de Vivo, Managing Director for Wally, the Wallywhy 150 is a model that is ahead of its time, starting with those innovative characteristics that led to the success of the Wallywhy200.

The exterior is certainly the most innovative part of the Wallywhy 150, as can be seen in the completely open upper deck. On board, passengers can choose to eat on the sundeck, relax in the large sun lounge or in the shaded lounge. Another interesting detail are the full length windows that mark the design of the entire yacht.

INTERIORS

The interior layout of the Wallywhy 150 has an owner’s cabin on the forward main deck, which, like an extraordinary amphitheatre over the water, offers a 270 degree view, thanks to the incredibly high bow.

The layout of the lower deck can be configured with a VIP cabin, a double guest cabin and a twin, or with two VIP cabins: all flooded with light, thanks to the large windows which, in addition to creating a bright and airy mood, give the rooms a modern and refined look.

A COMFORTABLE LAYOUT FOR ALL

The key to the success of this vessel – says Luca Bassani, founder and Chief Designer for Wally – is the essential nature and accessibility of the layout. The Wallywhy 150 is a flexible platform, ideal for anyone who wants a cruise that is different from that on classic planing yachts. In addition, this is the first vessel with direct access to the water from the cockpit, without the need for ladders, like a loft over water.”

The aft deck transforms into a terrace on the water, with a multi-use ladder and hydraulic platform. Owners can use this area as they wish, with space to store all types of water toys, in addition to a large 3.90 metre tender. With the optional propulsion configuration of three IPS1350s, the Wallywhy 150 can reach a maximum speed of 23 knots, while with standard engines using three IPS1200 motors, it can travel at 21 knots.
