Floating Life, based in Vacallo, Switzerland, has been in business since 2002, offering a diverse range of services, with a team of over 20 professionals.

Yacht management is the company’s core business. Floating Life fully manages all operational and organisational aspects for yachts, for both private and commercial use, starting at 30 metres (administration, budgeting, supply management and quotes, crew management, planning port and refuelling stops, work lists, emergency support, defining the right flag for the owner, insurance, crew contracts, accounting, expense management, invoice payments, supervision of maintenance works, and more).

The company also works on Fractional Ownership, managing the “Ocean Pearl”, a 42 metre yacht with 5 cabins and a crew of seven. Since its launch in 2010, the ship has been owned by 8 people, working independently, and Floating Life has been working as intermediary between all proprietors, guaranteeing all rules are followed and each one can enjoy the yacht correctly. The company has also created a design for another multi-property vessel.

Floating Life is also active in Charter and Brokerage. Their brokers personally visit the yachts a client is interested in, and, once the vessel has been chosen, they take care of all the paperwork and contract, going on to define the itinerary which is personalised based on the client’s needs. A member of the MYBA, Floating Life adheres to the standards of excellence of the association, supplying over 2000 yachts around the world that satisfy established technical requirements.

Regarding the purchase of a yacht, the company has a full team of professionals, experts in different fields, like finance, technical questions regarding the building processes and contracts, certification, and payments. Over the years, the company have also created their own full custom yachts between 38 and 42 metres, like the M/Y Audace built by Cantiere delle Marche and launched in 2019 for an Italian client.

A division of Floating Life, based in Italy, works in supplying crew uniforms that are made in Italy, following the entire process from the purchase of the fabric and accessories to packaging and sales. The continuity of the range and the quality of the fabric lead to increased durability, making it unnecessary to get new uniforms each year, requiring only the occasional addition every few years.
