What a surprise! In a last-minute decision,  Benetti has decided to return to the Genoa Boat Show, running from 1 to 6 October, to share with the public, for the first time, the Oasis 40M, a revolutionary yacht with external design by the English studio, RWD and refined interiors but the New York studio, Bonetti/Kozerski Architecture.

In its 40 metres of length, Oasis envelopes a new interpretation of the lifestyle concept: outdoors, the beach area to the stern is a permanent elegant lounge on the sea, while the glamour of the interior welcomes passengers in its wide open spaces and elegant and sophisticated design.

It was all decided just a few hours before the cutting of the ribbon on the 60th edition of the Genoese boat show, which, after a seven-year absence, will see the return of the shipyard owned by  Paolo and Giovanna Vitelli Benetti will be at stand H107, Marina Ormeggi, pier H. The last time Benetti was present at the Genoa Boat Show was in 2013, when they displayed the Orso 3, a megayacht belonging to the Tradition 105 collection.

Once Benetti has acquired the permission of the owner, together with the assistance of the organisers, they decided to bring the Oasis 40M to Genoa, to present, with great fanfare, the latest yacht introduced by Benetti to the market, and will also become the new flagship for the Boat Show.

Recently delivered to her American owner, Tim Ciasulli, represented by the American broker, Merle Wood & Associates, Oasis 40M was premièred, only for a select few, in Portofino during the yearly press conference held by the Azimut|Benetti Group, but it will be in Genoa where she will have her official début.

OASIS 40M

Oasis 40M is a revolutionary yacht, with its 40 metres in length and a gross tonnage of 385 GT, built completely in fibreglass. The English designers, RWD, who worked together with Benetti on the design, created a beach area that has never been seen before on a boat of this type, complete with a very singular pool, for yachts of this size, known as an Infinity Pool.

In addition, the pool, only a few steps from the water, is surrounded by a large teak-covered area that, thanks to the lateral wings which can open into a walkway, transform the beach into an enormous lounge area, a terrace overlooking the water to enjoy sea life like never before.

No longer a carved out space, like on many traditional yachts currently on the market, but an area designed with the specific function of continuing to enjoy the sea as closely as possible, free from any type of tender or water toys (hidden away in the forward lateral garage), and therefore easily accessed.

Another positive of the building and engineering design of the oasis 40M is the bridge, which represents one of the most important innovations. Thought of as a multifunctional space, it is an environment where the captain, owner and guests can enjoy their cruise and choose the route from new observation areas, thanks to a futuristic designed conn station with a panoramic view over three sides given by the full length windows and large space which can easy accommodate six people seated.

The exterior design, designed by the famous English studio, RWD, is a blend of Italian elegance and classic English lines and offers passengers a never-before-seen atmosphere of freedom and an intense intimacy with the sea. The interiors, created with relaxed and informal comfort in mind have been created Bonetti/Kozerski Architecture in New York.

The yacht is built over 4 decks with 5 cabins for 10 passengers and 4 cabins for 7 crew members, including a comfortable Captain’s cabin on the Upper Deck near the wheelhouse.  Equipped with two MAN V12 engines, Oasis 40M, even when sailing, is a vessel made for owners who are never in a rush, and want to enjoy the trip. With a very efficient hull completed by the vertical bow, the boat can reach a maximum speed of 18 knots and 11 knots during slow sailing, consuming little over 100 l/h, with an autonomy superior to that needed to cross the Atlantic.
