Giorgio Armani is the new title sponsor for the Superyacht Regatta, previously sponsored by Loro Piana. The 15th edition is to be held from 31 May to 4 June 2022 in Porto Cervo

Giorgio Armani is the new title sponsor for the Superyacht Regatta, which will take place from 31 May to 4 June 2022 in the waters off the Emerald Coast.

Four days of coastal racing in the singular context of the La Maddalena archipelago, accompanied by an equal amount of entertainment on land. This big boat race, which traditionally opens the season for the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda, in view of its 15th edition, is changing sponsor, moving from Loro Piana, an entrepreneur working in cashmere and a sailing enthusiast, to Armani.

Organised since 2008 by Yacht Club Costa Smeralda, participants in the “Giorgio Armani Superyacht Regatta” can take part in super yachts with a minimum length of 90 feet, and multi-hulls of at least 50 feet in length. The event, in addition, will also include, like in past editions, the Southern Wind Rendezvous and Trophy. The Competition Announcement, in the meantime, has already been published online and registration also opened.

Giorgio Armani’s ties to boating and the sea are well known. The Milanese stylist, is in fact the owner of Main a 65 metre long Codecasa, which was docked a few months ago at the Marino Molo Vecchio in Genova.
