Benetti has officially presented “Iryna”, the first unit of the B.Now 50M series, writing a new chapter in the history of steel mega yachts and innovation in high end yachting.

Part of the B.Now category, made up of four models with lengths of 50, 58, 66 and 72 metres, it stands out for its personalised layout options, with a causal and contemporary atmosphere ensuring comfort and privacy, Iryna has an imposing yet sleek and sporty exterior design, the result of the superb work by the British studio RWD, who shares with Benetti the desire to break the rules of classic yacht design in order to create new standards.

The British team worked together with the Italian shipyard to create a category of mega yachts made in steel that, not only respond to the needs and demands of modern owners, but also guarantee delivery times reduced by around 30% compared to market standards, thanks to Benetti’s advanced building technology. The enveloping and sinuous hull of the four models also continues on through the dynamic union of the interior decks with the exterior through long and large windows.

In the B.Now, the design philosophy puts the owner’s needs at its heart and develops, especially through the use of the Oasis Deck® solution, which pays careful attention to outdoor spaces. In the wake of the extraordinary success of the Oasis 40M, Oasis Deck has opening wings that increase the space available, creating a direct contact with the water that is also sheltered from the waves, an integrated pool in the beach area and a 270 degree view from the stern and from the dining area; a real oasis of togetherness and relaxation bringing together the perfect mix of sun and shade allowing guests to enjoy the deck at any time of day.

BENETTI B.NOW 50M MY IRYNA

Ideal for long cruises, Iryna was built for a Ukrainian owner, a loyal customer of the Azimut|Benetti Group, and is characterised by a strong sense of continuity between outdoor and indoor spaces, thanks to the large glass doors, and a connection with the exterior environment, thanks to the infinity pool a few steps from the water (with fresh water and special lighting) and the 36 square metre beach club, equipped with a wing door and a Turkish bath.

The interiors, modern and furnished with singular pieces, are the result of a partnership between Benetti’s Interior Style Department and Visionnaire, an interior design studio chosen by the owner and symbol of Italian products. The frame and covering for the deckheads is made in prestigious wood like satin finish silken sycamore, while its contrasting wood is in durmast. Ivory coloured leather was chosen for the ceilings and different details were treated with palladium, one of the most precious metals in the world, part of the platinum family, used with a refined satin finish in a leaf shape and applied carefully by hand.

Among the layout details are the gym on the Upper Deck, the large relaxation and sun lounge areas, the lunch area on the Main Deck, which also has a large living space and dining lounge inside, the bright owner’s suite with private balcony and the exterior garage, that can store a 6.25 metre tender, a jet ski, a rescue boat, and four sea bobs.

Complete privacy, always a priority in the Benetti range, is guaranteed through a scrupulous division between routes for passengers and for the crew, who can then manage the vessel without invading passenger spaces. Capable of reaching a maximum speed of 15 knots, Iryna has an autonomy at 12 knots of 4,500 nautical miles, allowing for several weeks at sea without having to come to shore for supplies.
